Ludhiana, March 3 (Rajkumar Sathi). With an aim to review the ongoing works, Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur conducted an inspection at Haibowal Dairy complex on Tuesday.
During the visit, Mayor Inderjit Kaur also held a meeting with the dairy farmers and inspected the effluent treatment plant (ETP) established in the dairy complex to treat the dairy waste. MC Zonal Commissioner Jasdev Sekhon and Councillor Indu Munish Shah were also present during the inspection.
Mayor Inderjit Kaur stated that during the inspection feedback was also taken from the dairy farmers and directions have been issued to the concerned officials to ensure proper functioning of the ETP plant. Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur stated that the state government led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to rejuvenate Buddha Dariya and door to door lifting of cow dung had also been commenced in the dairy complexes. Mayor Inderjit Kaur stated that they are monitoring the situation on a regular basis and are also in touch with all the stakeholders to bring a positive change at ground level.
