Punjab Cabinet Minister and MLA from Khanna Assembly Constituency, Tarunpreet Singh Sond, celebrated the auspicious festival of Diwali with Anganwadi workers with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. On the occasion, he extended warm Diwali greetings to all the Anganwadi workers and wished them happiness, prosperity, good health and well-being. Minister Sond said that Diwali is not merely a festival of lighting lamps, but also conveys the message of love, brotherhood, mutual respect and sharing happiness with one another. He highlighted the significant role played by Anganwadi workers in society, particularly in ensuring child nutrition, early childhood education and the welfare of women. He appreciated their dedication and commitment, stating that their hard work helps build a strong foundation for society. He further said that recognizing the valuable contribution of Anganwadi workers and encouraging them is a collective responsibility. Their dedicated services deserve appreciation and respect. CDPO Harjit Kaur, along with other prominent members and Anganwadi workers, was also present on the occasion.
