Ludhiana, February 4 (Rajkumar Sathi). For ensuring sustainable development across the city, Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar and Deputy Mayor Prince Johar conducted a meeting at the Mayor’s camp office near Rose Garden on Wednesday evening. The aim of the meeting was to expedite development works across the city without any discrimination. Detailed deliberations were held regarding the different development works and the steps to be taken to further improve solid waste management in the city. Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar and Deputy Mayor Prince Johar stated that they have been working for overall development of the city rising above the party lines. They further stated that different projects are being monitored on a regular basis and they have also been conducting field visits to ensure cleanliness across the city. The concerned civic body officials have been directed to ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of the works. Further strict action would be taken against the concerned officials, if anomalies are found in context to cleanliness in their respective areas. Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar and Deputy Mayor Prince Johar stated that projects worth crores are being taken up in the city for developing quality infrastructure.
