The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is organizing ‘Jashan-e-Inquilab’ event dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh on September 28, 2026 at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ground, Ludhiana. Detailed arrangements are being made by the administration at various levels for the preparations of the event. During the event, famous Punjabi artists Ranjit Bawa, Kulwinder Billa, Pari Bhander and Basant Kaur will pay tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh through their performances. On this occasion, people have also been appealed to join the event by dressing in Basanti colored clothes and Basanti turbans. Aam Aadmi Party Media Incharge Puneet Sahni said that people should participate in maximum number in this event being organized to remember the great sacrifice of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his unwavering dedication towards the country. He said that the event will be held on Monday, September 28 from 3 pm at PAU Ground. He especially appealed to the youth to attend the event in large numbers and pay their respects and respect to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh.
