Khanna, June 1 (Rajkumar Sathi). Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Sunday emphasized that the state government is laying a major focus on promoting organic farming. He added that thousands of farmers are associated with the organization which encourages the production of chemical-free food and dairy products. . Sandhwan also mentioned that the Punjab Government has launched the Phase 1 project to promote local produce marketing and sales within the state. He urged people to adopt methods like fruit and vegetable processing, chemical-free home gardening, fruit nutrition gardens, and herbal gardens at the household level.
